IO PAN MENTORING PROGRAM

The IO PAN Mentoring Program is an initiative by the Doctoral Self-Government of IO PAN aimed at doctoral candidates conducting their PhD research at the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot. The program is based on collaboration between the Mentee and the Mentor and is tailored to the individual needs of the doctoral student.

The program's objectives are to:

  1. Support the development and enhancement of key competencies and professional skills of doctoral students;
  2. Assist in identifying and achieving individual professional and educational goals;
  3. Improve soft skills, build and expand scientific and professional networks, and strengthen motivation and engagement;
  4. Promote best practices in science and scientific communication.

The Mentors in the program are experienced IO PAN scientists. Their profiles are presented on the website below.

The detailed rules governing the Mentoring Program are described in the Regulations. To express interest in participating in the program, either as a Mentee or a Mentor, you need to complete the appropriate form available on the website and send it to the email address: mentoring@iopan.pl , along with a signed personal data protection clause. Original documents in paper form should be delivered to the IO PAN Doctoral Students' Self-Government.
